SAF International's poverty alleviation efforts in India are critical due to the persistent socio-economic challenges faced by Sikh, Muslim, Sikligar & Vanjare, and Dalit communities. These groups often suffer from extreme poverty, limited access to education, and inadequate basic services. SAF International runs programs focusing on Sikhi awareness, education, shelters, and water access, supporting over 1,300 children through sponsorships in 400 villages. By partnering with local organizations and the Ministry, SAF ensures effective implementation of its initiatives. These efforts aim to break the cycle of poverty, provide sustainable development, and improve the quality of life for marginalized communities, fostering a more inclusive societyā€‹.
